Faith Is Not always Easy!

God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him. (James 1:12 NLT)

"A Message of Encouragement"

If youíre going through a difficult experience right now, I have a special message for you. Through my experience with cancer, I learned that God knows all about me. He created me. He knows the number of hairs on my head, and even knows my needs before I ask Him. He is Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals, and He has the final word on my destiny, the number of years Iíll live to serve Him on earth. When I pray I can go to Him as His child. I can ask for divine healing. There is so much I donít understand about life, but I do know that with one touch, one word He can bring healing. I asked God to give me healing and He did, not based on anything I did or did not do, but based on His grace, mercy, love, and plan for my life. I am determined to share my story every opportunity He provides.

I believe God uses doctors and medicine in the healing process, but I also believe that healing power comes from Him and He deserves all the praise. I told my Oncologist this as I began chemo and whole brain radiation in 2012 and he was speechless. He didnít know what to say, so he didnít. I am thankful for Godís healing power in my life. I go back in April for MRI and CT Scans, but I am depending on God no matter what the outcome.

We must, however, be prepared for His answer to our prayers to be ďNoĒ or ďNot nowĒ. In that case, His grace is always sufficient. Ultimately, I want His will for my life, but no matter what, I choose to honor Him and give Him glory.

Dear Lord, surround us with supernatural peace and strength and give us the faith to believe that all things are possible with You. Protect us from Satan's lies and discouragement. In Jesusí Name, Amen.

ďDonít be afraid, for I am with you. Donít be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.Ē (Isaiah 41:10 NLT)
